Sustainably Sexy

The entire design is developed using a zero-waste approach. Inspired by palm leaf weaves, straight strips of fabrics have been interlaced together to seamlessly fit the body and make maximum utilization of the fabric.

The flowers are dyed using natural colorants like turmeric, red chilly powder and tea tannin.

The entire dress took a weeks time to be draped and hand stitched. Each intersection had to be individually hand stitched. The back has a center back snap button opening.
