Olympia-Play like a Girl

A sustainable design collection developed using deadstock fabrics procured from Columbia Sportswear company. The collection was designed to be showcased at Accademia del Lusso's Fashion Show in Milan 2023.

About this collection

The entire collection is designed to celebrate all the women in the field of sports. The pieces are influenced by popular sports like football, boxing, basketball, etc.

One of the most significant lines of the collection is "play like a girl", which is generally taken as taunt while growing up. However, in this collection it acts as encouragement to actually play like one, as they are no less.

CLO3D

By using a 3D fashion designing software, three designs were further developed to understand how effective they would look on the runway.

Final Product

After 48 hrs of fringing denim and 3 days of construction the entire piece was developed solely by the designer.

The complete ensemble is made consciously using sustainable materials. The base of the garment is made from deadstock denim fabric provided by Columbia Sportswear company. The lining is 100% cellulose based fabric.
